From January 2014, the Legacy complex care turning bed will be available to hire.

In response to considerable demand from across the UK, this is obviously great news for any hospital, SCI or Major Trauma Centre wishing to enjoy the recognised patient care and nursing benefits of mechanical turning offered by Legacy – especially those for whom the funding to purchase the product outright has proven difficult to secure.

Likewise, because rental constitutes a far smaller financial outlay, many establishments will initially be able to get the product into a ward environment far more quickly than through purchasing in full.

Rental also gives hospitals the flexibility to hire Legacy for the duration for which it is required and no more – saving money and space.

Consequently, the benefits of mechanically-assisted routine turning and repositioning of patients can now be realised more widely – reducing the physical strain on nursing staff, dramatically improving patient care and comfort, reducing patient throughput times, and unlocking numerous advances in the treatment of patients with spinal injuries, major trauma or other complex care needs.

If you are interested in hiring Legacy, please contact Nexus DMS Ltd to express your interest and find out more. Note that expressions of interest will be dealt with on a first-come first-serve basis, so get in touch soon to secure one of the beds in our rental fleet.
